I came to the counseling profession with an appreciation for the many ways life can change us. Like many people, my own path has included seasons of growth, transition, challenge, and beginning again. Those experiences have shaped the way I sit with people in therapy—with compassion, curiosity, and respect for the courage it can take to look honestly at the parts of life that hurt.
As a therapist, I especially value helping people understand not only what they are experiencing, but why. When we begin to make sense of our patterns, relationships, emotions, and responses to difficult experiences, things that once felt confusing can begin to feel more understandable—and change becomes possible.
I don’t believe therapy should be one-size-fits-all. I draw from different therapeutic approaches based on the person in front of me, while creating a space that is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in each client’s needs and goals.
